As the founding president
of Toastmasters en Español,
Nevada's first and only
Spanish-language Toastmasters club,
Maite's goal was to facilitate
communication and leadership
development skills. The club,
which currently meets every Monday
evening at the Las Vegas Latin
Chamber of Commerce, was
officially recognized in
the Congressional Record by U.S.
Representative Jon Porter.
During her leisure time, Maite
volunteers for the Make-A-Wish
Foundation of Southern Nevada and
provides free income tax preparation
assistance to low-income working
families.
Maite is unyieldingly dedicated to the entrepreneurial
spirit and constitutional freedoms
that have made the U.S. the most
successful nation in the world's
history. Maite was inspired
by her father, Francisco

and strength of character to build
a profitable small business from
humble beginnings.
